A fine framed Abraham Lincoln signed Civil War military commission dated Feb. 21, 1862

This beautifully framed and matted military commission appoints Captain Z. C. Edwards as Assistant Quartermaster of Volunteers on Feb. 21, 1862. Along with Lincoln's large and bold signature is that of Edward Stanton, Secretary of War and Lorenzo Thomas, U S Adjutant General.
