An early 18th century print featuring a frog and a lizard by Albertus Seba (1665-1731)

This original print, now framed and matted, comes from "The Cabinet of Natural Curiosities of Albertus Seba," one of the 18th century's greatest natural history achievements and remains one of the most prized natural history books of all time. Seba (1665-1736) was a Dutch pharmacist who was unrivaled in his passion for everything to do with natural history. He had an amazing collection of animals, plants and insects from all around the world.
