An Important China Trade Reverse Painting on Glass of the Sailor's Farewell circa 1810-1815

Featured in "The Decorative Arts of the China Trade" by Carl Crossman, p. 212 as well as in "Jack Tar, A Sailors' Life 1750-1910" by J. Welles Henderson, p.33. This famous painting is based on an English print 'William and Mary' by Robert Pollard, 1785. Oval format 10 1/2" by 8". In its' original carved, gilded and beaded Chinese frame.
