A 19th century Baleen Corset Busk inscribed "Matilda H. Stanton" circa 1850

The busk measures 14" and is decorated with the letter "M", a star and other geometric patterns. On the back is the name 'Matilda H. Stanton,' most likely from the Stanton family of New Bedford.
