A charming 19th century Cribbage Board carved from a whales' jawbone and inlaid with tortoiseshell

Made in the mid 19th century, this charming wsailor-carved cribbage board is made from one solid piece of whale jaw bone. It measures 13" in length, 3 1/2" wide and nearly 5/16" thick. Great original patina.
