A collection of 46 antique carved whalebone and whale ivory bodkins on a custom made display stand with parasol handle circa 1830-1870.

Used by sailors for mending clothing and sails, this fabulous collection of bodkins was assembled over a lifetime. Each one was carefully selected for its' quality and rarity. A custom made three tiered stand mounted with a Victorian carved ivory parasol handle makes this a very dramatic display.
