Made entirely of antique whalebone set on to an exotic hardwood base, this beautiful pierced fretwork basket is reminscent of sailor-made works of art of the mid 19th century. Inset into the bottom is a charming whale ivory sperm whale. Diameter 6 3/4" Height to top of handle 6 3/4".
