A fine and rare 19th century sailor made Whalebone Pie Crimper inscribed "Made for 'SWEET SALLY' by Thomas Allen 1859."

Measuring over 7" long, this absolutely charming pie crimper not only has the name of the person it was made for ('Sweet Sally') but also the maker (Thomas Allen) and the year he made it (1859). The entire piece is profusely scrimed with flowers and vines.
