A fine and rare unopened bottle of whale oil circa 1875 distributed by Ezra Kelley (1798-1895) of New Bedford, Mass.

A fabulous small (2 1/2" )untouched bottle of whale oil circa 1875 with its original cork and wax seal. Kelley is credited with discovering that oil from the whale's jaw and head would be ideal for use in watches and sewing machines.
