Perhaps the finest piece of whaler's art to come onto the market this year. Weighing over 22 pounds and measuring 50", this outstanding piece of jawbone taken from a Bowhead whale in the Bering Sea in 1909 has some of the best scrimshaw that I have seen in quite a while. Great overall patina and absolutely original in every respect. A must own for any serious collector of whaling art!!
