A fine Napoleonic Prisoner-Of-War Bone Games Box circa 1795-1815

Wood frame with delicately pierced and fretted bone veneer over a copper lining. The domed sliding lid has scoreboard holes. Included in this wonderful box are 48 hand-cut bone dominoes, 38 bone playing cards of which six are hand painted with images of Kings, Queens and Jacks and 7 bone skittles with one bone ball and one dice.
