A Wonderful large 19th century Scrimshawed Whale's Tooth circa 1850

Measuring nearly 7" long with a 3 1/2" wide base,this beautifully shaped tooth weighs 1.4 pounds. One side features a three masted ship flying the American flag while the reverse side features a sailor wearing a neckerchief over a red lapelled jacket with red sash. This is an extremely attractive tooth. The base has two age cracks approx. 1" long
