An "End of the Whaling Era" Toggle Harpoon by Ambrose Peters of New Bedford circa 1902

This completely original harpoon measures 88 1/2" and was made by Ambrose Peters of Merrill's Wharf, New Bedford, Mass., circa 1902. His name is faintly visible on the toggle. A very attractive item ready for hanging on the wall.
