A 19th century Reverse Painting on Glass of a British Man-of-war circa 1850-1870

Retaining its' original walnut veneered frame measuring 17" by 19', this charming reverse painting on glass depicts a two deck frigate. The back of the frame was originally sealed by cutting up and glueing onto the back an 18th century Trust Indenture document. On the inside of the glass some of the original pieces of clay used in separating the glass from the paper backing have come loose but otherwise the painting is in very good condition.
